Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Hi all! I just replaced my fuel pump on my 05 H2. The ENTIRE THING was rusted out on top, leading to the head of the fuel pump breaking off inside the connector and I can't get it out. I've tried everything. Eventually I cut the connector off to try to force the rusted piece out and still no dice. I have been trying to find another to order, but it seems as though these old ones were a different size than is used now or I may just be stupid, but it looks like the connector is 1/2 in and goes out 1/2 in on the backside to the hose. All of the ones I've been able to find are 5/16 or 3/8... Any help would be much appreciated, I have had the thing jacked up for over a week working on it and replacing all of the rusted parts underneath and am now just at a stand still and it's driving me nuts! Thanks in advance!
if your fuel pump has rotted. make sure to check your brake lines as well as the fuel lines but definitly check your brake lines carefully as they do tend to bust at around the same time the fuel pump rots out.
