The gear is not a separate part that you can buy.....

If the plastic gear is shot you may well have other issues, check the motor and plastic-gear shafts to see if their bearings need replacing.
RA stocks 19150497 for $247.79, if you going to the trouble of accessing the wiper motor why not replace it, surely you don't want to revisit it again?
Also check for "play" in the "Wiper Transmission Linkage". If you hear a "clunk" when the wiper-arms change direction, you may find their shaft bushes are worn. The noise is not the main issue, it's the "lift" in the wiper blade causing it not to clear the windshield properly.

I've seen parts that were poorly cleaned and painted from the junkyard.

Btw, if the wiper motor housing was "poorly cleaned and painted from the junkyard", that doesn't affect the performance!
What's inside matters!

What a predicament, charging a customer for a new reman. in that condition, then being confronted by the customer afterwards and telling the customer, Oh "Whats inside that matters! 🙄
No thank you. 😉
