Freedom Offroad UCAs
Anyone try these Freedom Offroad upper control arms?
It says OE ball joint so I am assuming they are simply longer for leveled rigs or does the ball joint look like other name brand UCAs?

looking at the arms I don't see how they support any more travel than the stock arms,
If you take a look at the Cognito/Kryptonite arms you can see the upper arm does not come straight off the pivot point, it goes up then out. This set up gives you more travel by moving the upper arm contact point with the travel limiter higher along with changing the ball joint angle to better handle the new angle of the UCA.
I've haven't researched these arms, just going off of what I see in the pictures.

I drive with confidence knowing what's under me. I would never install a fly-by-night distributor's "affordable" part on my Hummer! Btw,my briefs have more experience.

Yes, don't be cheap on your safety! My UCA's are still oem and tight, yet when It comes the time for replacement, I will do a lot of research, before replacement! Originally, when looking at those arms you posted, I noticed a smaller tubular design with welded on plates.
.. Spend a little more for proven, well designed/built uca's, yet, still search for the best price. I'm impressed with kryptos serviceable/replaceable bj's, an upgrade oem! After you get the parts, when ready to install, include an assistant, to reduce any pain:
