I read all the other threads I could find on this site about the conversion. I was wondering if anyone else has a FABTECH 6 IN lift kit on their H2 and if they did this conversion? I bought the 2006 H2 SUV with this lift already installed. Strutmasters stated their Coil Springs will work. FABTECH stated because of the lift I need their coil springs.

 

I have an 03 with 6” Fab lift and OEM bags that I will be converting to the 6” lift Fab coil springs. I bought those and 4 insulators to do the job. Probably do it in next week or two.

 

Same here. I also got the Dirt Logic Monotube shocks, I am waiting for those. Let me know how yours goes.

 

Just completed the FabTech 6” FTS27005BK coil spring conversion from OEM airbags. Vehicle lift, strut compressors & patience are the key ingredients. Overall took approximately 2 hours and that was with rotating the tires. Let me know if you have any questions.

 

Was there any sort of coil spring retainer clips on OEM Hummer H2’s with coil springs? FabTech said none with their kit. Just the insulators.
