Engine mounts
Hey everyone, I've been searching for gm oem motor mounts for my 2006 h2... I found lots of contradicting information... so it looks like the "orange" mount for my year is discontinued, but one listed for the 2003 is still available...? But also the orange was for the 2003... so I'm confused... then also in my search I found that the aftermarket is used for other vehicles, but the gm oem one isn't listed for the H2 but for the other vehicles that use the aftermarket haha...
Any insightinsight is greatly appreciated... also, body mounts as well, they're confusing like the motor mounts...

They used as many off the shelf GM parts when they designed the H2..... So I would expect the motor mounts are probably identical to the same year Tahoe or Escalade. A lot of times they don't include the Hummer in the list of applications. You might have to pull up an image to compare.

That's what is making it tough to pick some up. I even called gm and they were telling the wrong parts too. I am also trying to find gm body mounts, or even like a dorman, i called dorman and they said they don't make any for the H2, but they make them for a couple vehicles that are supposedly the same as H2... I try my hardest to stay with oem
It’s just a pain to install them as you got to lift the body up 4”
It's going to get worse as GM phases out more and more parts. Just like the motor mounts, the body mounts are also off the shelf GM....."probably."
As for the motor mounts, I would go with one of the choices off RockAuto. In 15 plus years, I've never found an error in their catalog as far as applications. While their prices usually can't be beat, I will frequently take the part number from their website and do a web search for it. Particularly on ACDelco parts, which I sometimes find cheaper on Amazon. (AC Delco has a presence there, and with prime there's free shipping) And most of the time Amazon says the part is not compatible.... But it always has been if it's listed as such on the RockAuto catalog.
You're going to have to get more creative like that as our vehicles get older. Another tip, if you look at the details of an item on RockAuto, usually it will list the OEM number from GM. And it doesn't hurt to search the GM part number as well.
