Engine Cover Bolt Spinning
I'm assuming I am not the only one that their brass nut in the manifold has broken loose and just spins in place without releasing the engine cover? I'm looking for ideas on how to pull this bolt out safely without damaging the manifold (it cost $500) and ideas on how people are re-securing it. I do know that JB Weld doesn't last. It will just break loose again.
Pull it straight up and the brass female glued in part will come with it, disassemble thoroughly clean it and use epoxy to secure it back in. Just make sure to lightly tighten cover back. Remember - really tight is right before it turns really easy
