Default Edelbrook Wires worth the extra cost?

Is it worth the extra cost over the OEM AC Delco/Denso wire set? I just did the eight plugs and went ok ...the hardest part is the height of the truck. I ordered a new tensioner and pulley which should come in by end of week and wondering how I will do due to height and if I should take off the hood. Since I am doing those, is it a good thing to do the water pump also or not saving much time as to doing it later? Just bought the 2007 H2 with 6.0L and has 99k miles.

at 100k you need spark plugs and fluid changes. your existing wires are probably fine if they are not damaged. no its not worth the extra money on a stock engine. the original coils plugs and wires are good to about 600 / 800 hp modified engine.... very robust

No need to pull the hood or replace the water pump either. Stock wires should be fine if you really want to replace.

I'd drop the skid plate and replace the A/C belt if you're feeling like it.
