H2 outside door handles for 07 base?s

1.do only Luxury model have the imitation chrome finish? Similar to the imitation chrome finish on hood handles?

This part doesn’t fit is driving me nuts here’s another example base or luxury doesn’t fit.

I think they appear to be chrome which I believe is for the luxury? just the handle not the plate.

or did luxury come w/ chrome square piece that bolts to door an w/ chrome handle like the luxury version is like a pimped out pimps ride w/ chrome everywhere?

my main objective is to have black plates w/ matching handles my pass. side handles are brushed aluminum.

2.do base models only come w/ brushed aluminum finished? here they call it chrome but in reality its brushed aluminuim. of course ebay is clueless on what there selling.





3. my 07 only has one door lock cylinder on the driver side however I repeatly see all four handles sold on ebay w/ 2 fronts w/ holes but advertised as fits 03-09.

not even gonna mention the black handle on the black plate. dam.thanks for advising.on correct handles.

 

These handles on my 07 Lux are factory. Black inserts with chrome handle.

Not sure I've ever seen all chrome handles before.

 

I believe all door handles were “brushed” finish. Chrome would show too many finger prints, etc. I also believe that the only handle keyed is the driver door. Not really sure what you are after? I took all mine off and have replaced them with black on black. Also removed all the badging and logos I could. GM went crazy with this. That’s just the look I like. It’s funny because very few people know what it is. I think I still have a few of the original handles that I took off. I just couldn’t throw the, away.

unbelievable ebay thinks this part fits. to bad it's a incorrect part. I maybe wrong but I believe gm cheaped out reducing the keyed door to just the driver door, these devils did the same w/ my 07 saab97x.

edit: how do you keep your black rubber bumpers so black mine are all faded?
edit2: I see the side step is removed do you offroad an want the extra clearance? I assume no bc of the street type tires.

you correct on fingerprints on door handle have you noticed them on the hood handles?
my pass. side has brushed aluminum finish I'd prefer to have the driver side match the pass. side.

yes I agree again you correct gm went over board on the h2 lables. when ppl ask what make is the suv what do you tell them? I'd be making up all kindof crape like its a custom foreign super car made to drive over little electric pos cars.

it amazes me that ppl even parts sellers are clueless can't differentiate between chrome an brushed aluminum.
I assume you reused your key lock cylinder?

it has been suggested from a y-tuber to replace w/ new handles however

These are factory 20" H2 wheels from an 09. Very easy to keep clean. Love the looks as well.

I removed all my trim, including bumpers and inner fender liners, and prepped and painted everything with SEM Bumper coater 39103 Flexible Black. Did this about 3 years ago and still looks new.

I removed the factory steps and rock sliders and installed a set of electric drop down steps made by AMP Research. Although I do have all terrain tires, I don't off road with the H2, shes kinda of spoiled.

 

I have the original factory set of all 4 door handles I took off of my 2003 in great condition. On my 03 the handles were chrome, not brushed and both the driver and passenger sides have door locks. I'd sell the entire set of 4 for $100 shipped.

 

so the earlier 03 both front doors w/ keyed locks which is better than just the one on my 07. I actually needed the driver front key lock cylinder which are sold in pairs so I have 2 locks even though I plan to only use one. when gm omitted the pass lock they most likey omitted the levers at lock. it would be nice to have 2 locks but don't think it would have the needed lever.

for right now I kindof want just the 2 handles on the driver side preferably brushed aluminum.
