Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
I just got my first Hummer, a 2009 SUV and I've been doing research on H2 nooks and crannies and something that I am dumbfounded on is if these facelifted H2's come with two kinds of clocks or it just looks more distinctive with the lights on.
Upon jumping to GM parts sources; gmpartsgiant.com, I stumbled to two different clock assemblies for the H2, and as we know 03-06 models did not have an analog clock.
Parts number 15294648 (A) and 19118959 (B). (A) appears to have thinner hour markers finished in chrome while (B) has thicker backlit markers. (A) would also have a plan dial as to (B)'s backlit dial if they were to be distinct two pieces. (A)'s "HUMMER" script also sits higher on the dial leaving less space between the center and the script while (B) has the "HUMMER" script placed lower. Nonetheless, both have the same bezel and hands.
I'd love to know your thoughts on this whether there are really two kinds of clocks or some H2 clocks I see elsewhere just has its backlight busted.
Moreover I don't see any of these parts attainable anymore, any leads for spare clocks for sale would be greatly appreciated!
Well my 2009 SUV LUX has the lighted clock. I like the way you set the time. I know how scarce parts are becoming and I try and pick up what I can and throw them in my spare locker. I have a bunch of spares for different things and I know now that I have spares the originals will never fail.
Never noticed the clocks in hummers before. But it is interesting that you tried to source out clocks and parts,. If you do find any around please post them here I know I will add them to my Never fail stockpile.
same clock. one is headlights on the other is headlights off. Mark thanks for letting me know who i need to rob if my clock ever goes out lol!
LMAO.........Funny I have most all spares for the dash...Vents ...Headlamp Switch and some other interior parts... I even found a deal on a Brand new OEM Complete Wiper assembly. Plus spare Chrome Hub Cap Covers.. I figure by 2036 I'll have enough to build an H2 less the chassi......
