hoping someone can help I finally bought my dream truck a 04 H2 have had it less than a week and now the dash went dead and 2km down the road came back on. went out parked it for 20 minutes jump in and now it says bat not charging so limping it home i booted it and the charging system started to charge. Its done this twice now i booted it and bang charging but today the dash is in active and when its running the volts are dropping. I've heard all kinds of stories about this going to check mega fuse but not sure but now its in the driveway sitting i tried to check alternator it read 11.8 and battery was just slowly dropping

Alternator is dying. Should be putting out over 13V when running.

 

i have a new alt in now and battery tested good but bat charging light still on. It went off after initial start up but came back on

 

i just tested the alternator and doing the same as last one reading 11.6 ive read stuff about this everything works on mine just not charging what the hell am i missing mine doesnt have a mega fuse doesnt have those little black fuses with the arrows arrgggghhh frustrating
