Hey guys, I'd like to have my middle console open to the back, not flop open to the side, and suggestions on what parts to use to do this? I have a 2005 hummer h2

 

Only thing I can think might be to order one of the GM truck console repair lid kits. They are like $20 and have springs/hinge parts etc for the rear open console in the full size GM trucks. I have no clue if you could make it work or be remotely close to being usable though.... but maybe some of the parts might be useful.
