Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Blacked out front bumper

Painted black the silver front and rear bumper lower lip, u steps, rock rails Rockstar center caps and removed underbody rust. I used Rust Check Rust Paint and top coated it with Dupli-Color Bed Armor. Lot's of grinding and sanding. Still have to do the mid underbody sections and front winch.

Great topic. I'm about to do the same thing with my H2. What kind of sand paper did you use to remove the rust and how many coats did it take to get that look?

I used die grinder with wire wheels, metal brush, scrapers, hammers, lot's of time and patience. I sprayed 2 coats of Rust Check Rust Paint and 2 coats of Dupli-Color Bed Armor.

Looks good. A stealth looking H2, almost. I will fix the underbody rust on my ride also, but I'm thinking of using por15 instead.

Nice one!

How are the ladders working out when you need to open the rear door?
