I’m looking at these transmission thermostats from improved racing for the 6l80. I haven’t done the cooler and bypassed the radiator yet, but when I do I’ll be putting in one of these two thermostats. But I don’t know which one to get. There’s a 140 and a 160 degree variant. I don’t want it to run too cold and shift hard. They recommend the 140 for some reason but I don’t see why.
