Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Any leads on a front hood?

I got hit by another vehicle while driving my H2 and I'm now in need of a new front hood. The body shop can't find one near Denver, only found one in CA that they don't think will survive shipment to CO. Any leads greatly appreciated.

So glad I was in the Hummer when I was struck - the 2022 Tacoma that hit me wrinkled the bed, cab and rear door - all will need to be replaced.

Thanks for any help that comes my way!
Jim

This may be an option for your search. I've used this in the past, really cool search engine:

Thanks for all of the leads, guys - unfortunately these are all far enough away that they are unlikely to survive shipping to CO. My wait continues...

Yes, but no results yet. My body shop is also running a search so hopefully one will show up soon. They had me pick up the car since it's still drivable so the wait continues. Thanks

Why wouldn’t a replacement hood survive shipping? It seems like it would be a fairly sturdy part to have shipped. I am genuinely curious as to why for possible future knowledge.

Check with Pacific Motors... they are always parting out Hummers... They have a couple listed.

The body shop found one in CA (Pacific Motors?) but the service advisor said the fiberglass hoods don't hold up w/ commercial shipping and always show up damaged. Used hood is ~$2,200 and shipping is another $800.
