The dreaded broken bolts going to have to repair soon my question is do I stay with the original manifold or replace with short headers. It’s on a 2005 h2 all stock

 

Shorty headers would be the easiest but if you are looking for real power gains you would do with long tubes. I've thought about going shorties myself since I'm not really concerned about power, its a giant H2 after all. I do think shorties would be a little better flowing that stock exhaust manifolds.

I agree with LoJac, I replaced my manifolds with stainless steel OBX headers and ARP stud kit. I did the catalytic converters at the same time. No more leaks or broken manifold bolts! Good Luck!

That was the route I had always planned on going. I need to just buy them. Crazy thing is they are not as plentiful as they once were. Used to be able to find OBX all over the place in shorties and LTs. Let us know how it goes and were you bought from.
