Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Good info. Many don't understand the pressure readings, max is the max after reaching operating temperature, not at startup.
I just did a 5minute vent temp check: My results: 91° (ac off) 40° (ac on) ambient 81°
what year H2 are we looking at? Really need both high and low side gauge readings and the operating conditions they are taken at and have to know what the inlet and outlet temps of the evap coil are to get an idea of whats going on.
We can help but it will take some precise info or a good reputable shop may be able to sort it out.
Since someone else just mentioned it in another thread and you mentioned the snowflake symbol..... just to be sure. On 2003 models only, if you see a snowflake symbol, that means the AC compressor is disabled. It has a thin slash through the symbol on 2003's. Since that was confusing they changed it for 2004 and later to eliminate the slash (on 2004 and later the snowflake symbol means the compressor is enabled).
Do you have access to a dealer lvl scan tool?
It would be great to see the temp sensors in the duct indications and the blend door position (this is all based on you having the dual Zone AUTO system).
Ran another check today. 95 deg outside. Looks like it's about 52/53 psi. I'm just checking the low, I don't have all that equipment I'll let the shop sort it out I guess. So I checked at 10 mins. of running and 15mins and the picture attached is after 15 mins. It's still in the green and within the chart specs. But yeah I don't know what the high is.
On the snowflake, mine shows snowflake with the AC on and it goes out with it set off. I've had it flash before and turn off and I assume from what I've read about GM AC units is that is to protect the AC system because it's not within the correct temperature setting to be used. I've had it flash and go out and no AC when it was 65-70 degs out. I have never seen a slash thru the snowflake before but mines a 2003.
I've got a ODB II reader, that's it.

Well, I tried attaching img but it gets to 90 percent and stops.
Resize pic then try again.
Did you remove some refrigerant?

You keep showing the same pressures, still too HIGH. Try this: connect your acpro gauge with ac on, then take your garden hose, and spray into the front grill back and forth keep spraying and watch your gauge to see if it drops. Post results.
