Replace the door actuator for a new one but is not working properly either . Now is even worse , the air coming from the 2 passenger size is burning hot .

After replace it I disconnected the fuse for about 1 min . connected back , turn engine , let it run for 1 min 74 on display ( hot air on passenger) turn off engine , wait 15 sec . turn on engine . play with controls , even set both sides on 90 ... nothing change in any setting ...

Im I missing something ...

tried disconnecting the battery but didnt work either . for what I noticed , at start it blows cold for couple sec then switch to hot on passenger

 

Fixed ... Again disconnected the battery ... This time only the Negative , I leave it 30 min
Connected back ... Turn ignition .. not engine . leave ignition on for 30 min , turn off ignition for 10 sec . Turn engine on and BINGO , it start working

Btw if you made the mistake and test the actuator out of the place it will turn all the way Clockwise . will not fit back but you can fix it to the middle position again .. Here is a video showing how to reset the actuator

 

I know this is an old thread but I've tried exactly what you've done. I've replaced the same actuator for the passenger side, unplugged the battery even overnight. I then let the car run 30 mins and even left it in accessory mode for 30 mins and still no dice. Do you have any other suggestions? I'm literally going crazy over this....
