Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

I kept the 2nd one, but I think going forward I would spend the extra money and rebuild the OEM in hopes it's just as good as what GM made. In terms of the fidelity, it seemed like this controller had about 4 different fan speeds vs GM having a lot more. I know my old resistor was seldom on the highest setting, now it seems like fan is blowing a lot higher more often. I now have to manually turn the fan speed down due to the constant blowing.

I'm assuming it works as well as the original H2 module? If so, I'm wondering why GM just didn't share that same part across trucks? There must be a reason.

Wonder if the one you installed was a beefier version of the H2's since the case appears larger.....

I thought about opening the covers to take comparison pictures, but got to excited and started testing it. I will do that soon, probably Oceanbrave can look them over and understand whats in there better than me.

it works identical to the original, same control functions, 40 amp rating on the fuse, the one non H2 was MFD: 2001, My opinion not fact. im pretty sure they don't care to sell older parts for newer vehicles. Let alone admit the newer one is inferior quality. But still testing it and using it as much as possible, there is info out there of them failing also in the same manner so they aren’t exactly bullet proof, but it only cost me 15usd including couple fuses. at this point so im fine using it.
