Kid had to slam brakes when cut off, lost all of those. Anyone else have it happen? Anyone have a clue what to check first? Kid has limited $$$ to randomly check things.

Need to ask kid. He’s in bed already, leaves for work at 4 am. Hopefully he will see message. He’s worried that it’s what guy had happen that had oil on skid plate. Told him could have gotten there during oil change. Doesn’t seem to loose much oil at all between changes. They had driven from Washington to Virginia last summer towing U-Haul. Has had no other mechanical problems, just an electrical gremlin: shifter locks up, window wonkey, seat heater heating all the time, static on radio off and on. Nothing has been consistent, just randomly annoying!
