Hi I have service four wheel drive and traction control and the stabilitrack on my dash and I hooked up my reader and it is saying code C0561-71 has anyone else had this problem and know what is causing this I e tried erasing the code and it comes right back don’t want to drive it so any help would be appreciated thanks

 

You need to get a scan tool and look at live data from the EBCM. Typically there are other codes stored along with this one. Is there anything else?

The cause is usually an incomplete signal from EBCM "Code C0561 comes in two forms. ... In this case, the electronic brake control module (EBCM) disables the traction control vehicle stability enhancement system. The code means the EBCM is receiving faulty data from other modules or is faulty itself. The most common cause is a defective ABS sensor or a corroded connector to an ABS sensor.

 

This has been covered before.. All I know is when mine said service four wheel drive on my 09 it was the Rotary Control switch on the dash.. BWTFDIK...It's happen twice and seems to be a thang with 08 and 09 and again WFDIK....But take the advice of the above posters... They are real "Mavens" ...You can Google that one.

 

Not seeing any other codes other than the c0561-71

 

And my scan tool dose not support live data from the EBCM or abs so I will have to see if my local auto store can see any live info thanks I’ll post a update
