Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
2008 h2 replacements for the trunk interior trim on driver and passenger side
Hi, I am looking for replacements for my 2008 H2 trunk interior trim in the driver side and passenger side. I have looked everywhere no luck. Any suggestions
Very difficult to find. The rear Cargo panel assemblies have been discontinued and are exclusive to the 2008/2009 H2 model years, and prior year panels will not fit, which is why they are very difficult to find. They typically only come on the market when someone parts out a wrecked Hummer.
Here is what you are looking for:
25958044 or 25904122 - Interior Left Panel Assembly
25958042 or 25897265 - Interior Right Panel Assembly
I have found 3 primary sources:
Pacific Motors (pacificmotors.com) is always parting out a Hummer. They occasionally part out 2008s. I see these cargo trim pieces pop up every time they part one out. Check with them and maybe get on a wait list. They typically sell them for $429 each.
eBay - These will occasionally appear on eBay. Usually by Pacific Motors, but also by others that part out hummers list them here. Last one sold on eBay in Feb. This is the search you want to save, and eBay will alert you when one appears: Hummer (25958044, 25958042, 25904122, 25897265). Just put that in the search field, and click Save this Search.
Craigslist - I actually got one when a guy parted out an 08 hummer and was offering parts on craigslist. He bought a flood damaged one off Coparts from Florida because he needed the entire front end after he had an accident. Water did not get up as high as the cargo area... so those pieces were good. With flood vehicles coming up for auction... you might see more opportunities to get parts this year.
NOTES:
Don't pull these out of a vehicle in the winter... if the plastic is cold, the legs that connect the panels to the body will snap.
Taking these out of a vehicle is a serious pain. I plan to post a guide on how to successfully remove these when I have some time...
Don't throw out the old ones... even beat up, there will be a buyer.
Direct Message me as I have replaced the right hand panel, and have an extra.
@Miketheike08H2 - for some reason I can't message you... I have two interior cargo quarter panels for the 2008 H2. They have scratches... and are worth $400 a pop... If interested, let me know. They are currently installed, and I am planning to replace with better ones in July.
