I ordered 3 master cylinders before I finally got a tracking number. P/N 25826147

https://g.oempartsonline.com

this link goes to Berger Chevrolet. The website said they had 7 in stock. It was $530 something and about $100 in shipping and taxes. Good luck

Neal, I have had a pending order on Summit since May of this year, they keep back ordering it with a projected ship day in October. A number of phone calls to them revealed its been on back-order with their supplier. Both Summit and myself don't honestly believe it will ever ship.

Now with that in mind I finally scored just the master cylinder 25826147, I have an actual fedex tracking number and its on its way.
It was ordered through: Regester Chevrolet
Address: 10 E Main St, Thompsontown, PA 17094
Phone: (717) 922-6139
They have a ebay store and the listing for this item is: https://www.ebay.com/itm/136382062424
I have confirmed that they have 5 more available, when there gone that's it and according to the Parts Guru their chance of finding more is fairly slim.

So If you even remotely think you might need one in the future, don't wait!

When searching that part number it came up that there were around 7 left across the US, it showed that a local GMC dealer had one or could get it.
I inquired at Fiver Automotive (one of the merchants that showed to have the parts) and they only have the pump not the entire system.
Thanks for letting me you spoke with Summit, I was going to call them,
At some point a conversion will be all we have but hopefully someone will make a replacement

Blackbus, keep us updated if you actually receive the master cylinder. Mine should be here early next week. I would like to place a good set of links at the end of this thread documenting sites that actually have the parts and can actually ship them. Maybe it will deserve a sticky

We all waste way to much time track down these parts, I can tell you I have physically spent a number of day following up and trying to find vendors that actually have them.

One other thing I would like to add, while there is a limited supply of master cylinders available forget about trying to make a complete assembly from ordering pieces and parts, The hydraulic motor pump, accumulator, abs control unit, and even the inlet and outlet pipe kit assemblies are not be be found either.

I was able to get a hold of Fiver Auto Parts (overseas) and they said they have the pump unit but no complete units

Add this to your list of bait and switch vendors:
https://www.powerbrakeservice.net/08huh2absbrm.html

Here's another update: Sweeting DOES NOT have a complete unit even though they currently advertise they have, WRONG!

When I called them on it they gave me some **** and bull story about it being backordered and some other crap when I told them they should not advertise what they DONT have and I would share that on this site. After my meltdown on the phone with them it status has now been changed to out of stock which is what it should have been to begin with.

Anyhow, So many vendors for some reason refuse to honestly show what they physically have it stock.
It's so frustrating you waste your time to find a part, Then place the order then thinking you have scored what you need and and it will be on its way when you have nothing, days later when you follow up you find your credit card company has a pending credit.

The vendor should tell you right up front its BACKORDERED or have it listed that way on their web site and also never bill until it ships. Crappy business practice all around.

I agree, time spent running these down due to the venders still listing them on their sites is a waste of time but it gets traffic to their site so they leave the listing active

Hi all, got my Master Cylinder package delivered by Fedex today:

Arrived in a Genuine GM box, and the unit was in a sealed bag brand new with all the Gaskets and stuff required to mount it to the firewall and pins for the fluid reservoir

So if you need one here's the link again to the Chevrolet's Dealer Ebay store: https://www.ebay.com/itm/136382062424
They will drop ship directly to your address. These people were great, Daryl the parts guy stayed on top of this, called me a number of time. Plus he was in direct contact with the warehouse to make sure it went out promptly.

Needless to say I'm all smiles and pleased as punch!
