Trying to set the clock on my recently acquired vehicle. Videos show to insert key into the ignition, turn on, then use 2 buttons to set the hour/minutes. Nothing happens when pressing the buttons. Is there a secret? Known malfunction? Easy fix?

Simple fix.
needed to hold the buttons longer. Maybe it was stuck.

All is good.

 

My wife is jealous that the factory Bose stereo in the Hummer sounds 100% better than the system in her 2014 Escalade, LOL. If it dies, look here on the forum before you go to a stereo shop and risk them hacking your wiring. There's several good examples here and sources for some good options.
