Looking for throttle response controller for 2005 H2 and I see most only have it for 2008+. Why is that? Also they call 2008+ as 1st Gen, then 2005 is what 0th Gen :-)

Get a TB Port Polish, followed by a PCM tune, skip the band-aid. The pedal thing just advances the position of the TB in relation to your Accelerator Pedal sensor, you can do the same thing with your foot, jut push sooner.

A TB Port Polish increases efficiency and air flow, add an Intake for more. The PCM Tune will make more power and work wonders with AT Shifts etc.. to take advantage of those mods.

balbalas The 08 and later H2 use the new high speed canbus and items on that bus must comply to the new specs. 07 and earlier are all the low speed bus.
