Hello All,
I have a 2004 Hummer H2 and have two questions. As seen in the pic above I have a small area on my bottom rear corner panel edge that is beginning to bubble and rust. Does anyone know of a vendor or company that makes a metal or plastic diamond plate style cover to protect this area? I've seen similar style tape that I want to avoid.
Also I am going to replace my top cab weatherstripping at the top of the drivers and passenger side doors and want to know what is the best rubber to get.

This is something that needs to be cleaned, primed and repainted. I don’t think there is anything out there that could protect it as far as covering it with plastic or metal. That rust area will only grow larger over time.

 

Agreed and as far as the weather stripping, the factory stuff will work best. Most of the pieces are custom specifically for the H2, particularly the one on the body above the door openings.
