did your issues start before the 2" lift ? the main pack grounds are located at the body mounts.

Nice picture

The Serial Bus links everything, so any module can potentially corrupt communications, so what you say is possible.

SP205 links just about everything, I seem to recall it has a "comb" that can be pulled out so you can get at all the individual comms,

I believe these are the pin assignments:-

A = Radio & SP206 (VCIM, Rear Seat Audio & Audio Amp)
B = Powertrain
C = EBS & Transfer Case Shift
D = OBD2 Port
E = HVAC
F = PDM
G = Instrument Cluster
H = SP207 (Driver Memory Seat Module & Inflatable Restraint Module)
J = Air Suspension Module (If fitted - but check unused connectors if not)
K = Not Used
L = DDM
M = BCM

Intermittent type problems can be difficult, but if you can what I call "exorcise" them, that is to say change how a fault manifests itself, then it means you're on the right track, particularly if the fault becomes "hard" like yours has.
(hopefully it doesn't just go away because then you'll never know)

May be you disturbed a connection, or vibration in moving the HVAC and Radio changed something, could be a bad-chip, loose wire or something that's fallen inside.

You may find this video interesting www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIRmDKHynj0

Hope you find your problem....

the plug has a green top if i remember and it is located near the steering column near the hazard flasher relay area. follow the sound and look for a green cap on the end of a harness. might be taped onto the headlight switch harness.

🐰🐰 Happy Easter 🐰🐰

A little more info on Splice Pack SP205 (though he calls it "serial port" but close enough)

BTW I missed off the wire colors:-

A = Radio (Orange) & SP206 ( Pink - VCIM, Rear Seat Audio & Audio Amp)
B = Powertrain (Dark Green)
C = EBS (Light Blue) & Transfer Case Shift (Dark Blue + White)
D = OBD2 Port (Purple)
E = HVAC (White)
F = PDM (Tan)
G = Instrument Cluster (Grey)
H = SP207 (Dark Blue + White Driver Memory Seat Module & Inflatable Restraint Module)
J = Air Suspension Module (Dark Blue + White If fitted - but check unused connectors if not)
K = Not Used
L = DDM (Brown)
M = BCM (Light Green)

Note it looks like there are 3-off Dark Blue + White

Skip to 03:50 of his video, it will help you for sure
