Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Thailand has a lot of fees on imported vehicles. Even more for lux vehicles. One way around the fees if to import parts then assemble.
However they are watching and if you just reassemble a vehicle out of imported parts you will be changed the same as you imported an assembled vehicle in the first place. I could be wrong, however I think somebody imported right hand drive H2 parts. Front frame, back frame, front cab. and a T truck bed. Then assembled it all into H2T 2 Door. Not factory, thus not a reassembled vehicle, and not taxed as such.
This one is listed as for sale in Thailand for 3,5 million baht = $112,000.00 US dollars. Which is cheap there. Usually a H2 in Thailand goes 4 to 5 million baht. Great idea for a 2 Door version here in US.
