Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

08 H2 service 4×4, stabilitrak, traction. Remote start not working

any clue ?
Typically, you'll find issues with a vehicle's transmission when receiving a U0101 code.
This may include everything from general transmission performance problems to the vehicle refusing to shift out of a specific gear or even just an illuminated check engine light that won't seem to go away.

Default After 1 month & 2 weeks....

A moment later....
I told the shop I would like My Hummer back, because it still drives normally but when I get back up North I would like to have all the 4×4 options. And stop ✋️ the Christmas lights on My damn dash.
Any good electrical specialist shops near mid Florida?

Default Electrical Gremlins, difficult to find and ever harder to kill!

U0101 is almost a catch all code for the 6L80 (and others) but is usually combined with another code if there is a specific problem with the 6L80. BUT! Loss of communication combined with the crazy dash light raise the flag of connection, grounds and power issues especially when you say the truck drives fine.

In all honestly and based on my past experience I seriously doubt you have a trans issue and almost 1/2 of the current H2 issues are because of poor power or ground connections. It is so unfortunate there are no real H2 mechanics around anymore and few repair shops have Tech 2's.

If I might suggest call around to a couple of the Cadillac dealers and ask them if by chance they still have one.

The H2 is not all that complicated especially when compared to these new electronic POS's made today and a good H2 mechanic from the 2000 years would probably have the issued with your H2 isolated in under an hour. Unfortunately that doesn't help much. Best of luck with it and I hope you get it nailed down soon.
