Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Yes, that's your brake light switch. There's multiple contacts inside, easier to just replace it than play around testing it as it's a bit of a reach and they are inexpensive.
this brake switch is gonna be extremely diffacult to replace. do I have to remove the whole underneth the dash to access this switch? any tips on swapping the switch would be a big help. thanks
also is the brakelight an the taillight bulb a single filement? where most GM vehicals have 2 filements inside each bulb?
where are the blinkers down inside the bumper? I think I will test the blickers an flashers like could a faulty flasher interfer w/ the brakelights?
It's a spring-loaded clip, lift up the tang, and slide it a little and it comes off with the brake light switch.
I like to use a really small flat tip screwdriver. You can get a fingernail under it to lift it up, but sometimes there fairly tight.
1. Open your driver's door, place a chair with the back of it against the interior door panel.
2. Lol, I have a body pillow I lay on the floor in front of the driver's seat.
3. You want to be on your back on the floor in front of the driver's seat, feet on the chair you placed outside the vehicle. That's about the only way to do it and be quite comfortable.
4. With a flashlight or work light, and your little screwdriver in hand you are all set...

do the opposite of disassembly? the video you posted is pretty straight forward. unless you have adhd if so then try to focus more.
I'm completely missunderstanding your advice.like I must dissassemble before I reassemble? I can feel the clip an the rounded section where the 90*pick tool fit's into. just don't feel comfortable doing by feel. like right now I have brakes w/out the brakelights if I pursist I'll have no brakes period.
I'm concidering removing the front seat but doubt that will inable me to see anything. is adhd attension decfit dissorder? just lowered the selling price.
