Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default 03 H2 electrical issue gauges only 75%?

Hey fellas I have an 03 H2 I bought in Indiana when I was instructing for the railroad in PA. I drove Murphy all the way to California where I live now. No issues whatsoever (since my company paid for gas) As I was leaving from home depot one day I noticed my volt gauge was at 12 normally at 14. My temp normally at 220 was 200. My rpms were 500 normally at 800. Any idea what this could be? Batt and alt check fine on the multimeter.

Check the voltage at the battery while running to make sure your alternator is supplying the needed 14+ voltage.

Also check grounds..... poor grounds can cause all sorts of odd electrical issues. Some external ones underneath on frame under drivers door, some internal buried in the dash, etc.
