Hello,

I have recently purchased a 03 H2. What I have noticed:

1. The driver side power lock is not working, I hear it clicking when I press the button on the remote -> I have ordered a replacement. Anything else to check?
2. If I lock it manually with the switch inside it does not lock all the other doors - Is this the way this should be?
3. The remote locking does not flash the lights / sounds the horn (I have tried "lights"/"horn" only and "both" settings as well - What should I check?

Battery voltage is around 12V should be more imo... Shall I replace that as well?

Rear doors, trunk and lock with speed works just fine.

Any help appreciated!

I notice similar things if all my doors are not closed properly including the trunk. might be a feature to keep you from locking the keys inside.
another sign is the interior lights will stay on if you have it set to entry mode. when you lock the doors they should go out pretty quickly if none of the doors are open.

 

That could be a reason for it!

I took the door panel off on the driver side, and the lock feels like it wants to move. So I will pull the plug from it once the replacement is here, and see if it locks itself.
I have also noticed all the other doors "lock with speed" but not on the driver side... possible problem with the lock!?

 

When I had this problem I replaced the door actuators and it fixed the problem for me. The fob would only move the door locks halfway
