Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Done with the lights.
It’s damn dark on the ranch and the country roads around me.
Had first a hood scoop with the 4” round Harley lights same as my fog lights but it didn’t work for me.
Got me a new more square hood scoop and got me some blackout Hella lights and customize the hood scoop for it.
In the grill I got the 2” Blackout Hella pods, on the hood the rigid with the blue radiant back lighting that will be on when my DLR are on.

Next project is a lift and maybe a Brush guard that goes over the front and hood.

This didn’t work for me.

Default Great Hummer!

That's an awesome look! Where can I find that hood scoop and those lights that fit inside? Can you provide the links OR would you be willing to make that setup for me and I can buy it from you?

Hi there and thank you.

The hood scoop I got of eBay I think it was $250.
The Hella lights I had through my local dealer here in Houston.
The hood scoop I had it spray painted in the same raptor coating as the the hummer.
It comes in black delivered and can paint it any color that you would like.
The Hella LED lights you can get also on Amazon if that’s easier for you, I prefer to support my local stores around me even if it cost me a little more.
I believe Rigid has similar LED lights but a fraction more.
After I had all the items and before I dropped the hood scoop of for the coating I measured the lights and used a dremmel to make 2 of the same openings in them.
Just go slow is my advice as you can always make it a bit larger but if you go to fast and messed up you can’t make it smaller.
After the raptor coating I had it let dry for at least a week before handling and installing the Hella lights and mount it on the H2.
All is wired by a pro to have not any electrical issues down the road.
Included are some screen shots from the items.
You have to order a wire kit for the LED lights as well
Hope this will help you out.

Love the total Black out look...Where you live sounds like you need those lights. I used to do off roading up in Penn. "Warn" make a Holder for Off road lights that fits the GM Brush guard which is what I went with. I stuffed four PIAA lamps on them. Gives me plenty of light with 4... 55 Watt Halogen Lamps plus the high beams.

I think front mounted lamps are the way to go. Your rig looks sweet with that grouping of eye level lighting. Never got the over the roof mounted lights.

Thank you.
I think every Hummer nut will equip his/her rig as personal as possible.
Yes it is very dark on Texas country roads and I like to see what hit 😂

Yours is pretty lite up as well.
