M998 Suspension Advice : truck leans to the passenger side
most likely. especially if they have heavy rust. also do not forget to count the winding on the springs and that you seat them correctly after doing your inspection. improper seating can also cause a spring to be taller then the others.
I didn't remove the springs to inspect, because I'm confident that the springs are the issue. Jacking up the front end causes the tires to lift off the ground at different times, and unless I'm missing something, this can only be caused by springs that are not the same (ie, one spring is weaker than the other one).
The rear springs are marked 12338316-2, which has a spring rating of 1728 pounds/inch.
The front springs do not seem to be marked with a number.
I've been researching and found the 12338316-2 spring being offered for sale as the front springs (snow plow) as well as for the rear.
Can I purchase 4x 12338316-2 springs and have the same spring all around the Humvee?
