Hummer H1The original Hummer, which brought the Hummer look to the public eye during Desert Storm, with the addition of some features that make the H1 more of a street vehicle and less of a Army truck
I have a 1993 H1 (fire truck)
We always had a steering issue where we had too much left turn and not enough right turn. We purchased and installed a new pitman arm and we are having the same issue. What I am looking for is the measurement of the drag arm, from the center of the pitman arm to the center of the idler arm (driver side). If that makes sense. It looks like we may have the wrong drag arm. I just need to confirm. The steering box looks correct and is plum with the frame. Wondering why the whole on the drag arm is 2" off from the proper placement of the pitman arm. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Yes, I thought of that but once i measured it i would still be off by about 2-inches. Unfortunately I cant find another H-1 where I can stick a measuring tape underneath. I have been searching online and yet to find a CAD or drawing showing the dimensions.
