2000 h1 engine help

after running 1/2 hour when i shut it off and go back 15 min it just cranks i have to let it cool off
and then it may start or ill leave and come back to it few hours, if i keep on craking it will kill baterries

Probably the injection pump, try pouring a bit of cool water on it when it's warm and dies, if it starts then the pump is shot
