Welp...turned in my original component letter to my service manager yesterday (made sure he gave me something in writing and signed that I relinguished it to him)...now we will see if GM makes good on their promise to take care of me (new letter containing what I was promised.)

If not...then I will ring up my attorney who has copies of all correspondence and tell him to proceed ahead, now that I have complied with GM's requests.
Yes, here's hoping it all works out for you! Patrick will be happy too, he's starting to run low on server storage space for this thread!

GM called me 2 days ago just to "touch base" and let me know my paperwork should come in a couple weeks and everything was all hunky dory. GM calls today and said they wanted to "offer me 5,000 more miles added onto what we agreed upon...AND KNOCK OFF 2 years!!!!!!" WHAT A FKG JOKE! I have never seen such BS in my life!!! And I am about done messing with them.

This is exactly why I spent the last 4 months arguing with them as to why I would NOT return my original componant letter! They of course said "Oh you have to trust us - we will do the right thing - but we WONT do anything until you return that letter. So I figured I would make a last ditch attempt to comply with their request showing that I had been cooperative on all accounts. I have theirlast offer in an email so I figured I would "do the right thing" and return the letter. Now that the letter has been returned, it appears that they may be doing exactly what they said they would not do! The same old "sorry, but we don't give things like that and now we want to change it" for the 3rd time now! I told them absolutely not and that I wanted what was promised to me and thatwas reflected in their offer in writing.

While I do not have the original letter now, I do have a file about an inch thick with all correspondence and copies of the letter, along with their offer they made to me in the email. Yes, this is unbelieveable (so unbelieveable that it has become one HUGE BAD JOKE) and it seems GM is making every attempt to insure that I am NEVER a GM customer again! I realize also that this has become boring and monotonous to many but I keep posting because I want others to see just what GM is capable of doing to their customers - not because I think people really care or are interested at this point in MY saga...but this could happen to you!

Apparently they CAN...and they DO! [:@] IF I don't receive my paperworkcontaining the stated agreement andwithin the time I wasgiven -now that I have complied with GM, I am going to stop threatening and start taking action legally and travel every channel I can think of. The shame of the matter is I was finally confident that we had settled the issue and that GM was going to make this right..UNTIL that phonecall yesterday which was ended with a "We'll touch base with you again next week." Don't touch base with me - just send me my friggen paperwork and be done with it!!!!!!
