Actually, my "flirting" with the thought of owning an H3, was slowing heading towards an "obsession"! of a thought... until reviewingthe contents and links within these forums. I felt a dramatic change of heart, and then the ensuingposts following mine, probablysaved me from being completely turned-off. The point of settling for the"banged-up" Tundra instead of a brand, spankin new H3 was that, after allit's been through, there hasn't beena single problem (such as "check engine" light) since day 1 until today (76K miles). Meanwhile, IT SEEMED (from my relative perception),that H3 owners have been experiencinga variety of problems justa few weeks & months, after purchase. Obviously, such stories certainly raise a doubt when considering the purchase of a VEHICLE.

And, when it comes to purchasing USED vehicles, whowouldn't check it's history??? I dont thinkLawwyfe has to waste her energy and thought offering pity and sympathy, with no one sitting around on the receiving end.

Also, what's a troll??

Thanks for all your responses, and feel free tobanme for your closed-minded policies.

Awwwwwwwww my feelings are just so hurt now....(Not really! I am not as thin skinned as you seem to be)

Cmon now, you had to realize that in coming onto a forum of obvious H3 lovers as a newcomer and coming across in a disrespecting and somewhat smartass (for lack of a better word) manner was going to net you some less than positive return responses. We happen to realize that we have a unique vehicle and feel the minor inconveniences are worth it, however aggravating they may be.

And my point was that not everyone who purchases a used vehicle has the moxy and the wherewithall to pull a Carfax, as well as the fact that not every Carfax always shows accurate history! I personally know someone who did run a Carfax on a vehicle he intended to purchase and it did not indicate any history of wreckage! The original owner obviously fixed the damage himself or had a bodyshop he knew do it and they did not properly note such damage.

Obviously the H3 isn't for you....Good luck to you in whatever you choose to do vehiclewise and may you never suffer any repair inconveniences with them!

I agree law wifey!!! Shunky, if you were sincere in your original post you would not have added teh last line about your Turdra bieng better than a new H3....that is a dumb way to end your first post on a HUMMER forum. Yes the hummer h3 is better than your Tundra....yes the Hummer h3 will kick the **** out of your Tundra in looks, originality,off-road dominance, and interior design and comfort...what moer could you want?!?! Are you foolish enough to actually believe that Jap crap trucks are better than Amewrcan made and will never break down? You do realize that there are over 18 TSB's and one recall out for the 2006 Toyota Tundra...right? How is that possible...toyotas never break down....LMAO.

In defense of Toyota..I read an artical this past fall about the CEO of Toyota shutting down production on several of their models, because of reliability issues and QC...Come to think of it, I haven't seen many Toyota carcommercialslately either.

Good to meet everyone. First night on the form. How do I view the Vin Number range for the engine problem. I have a 2006 H3, 6500 miles, only problem was the stabilizer fix.
