It's spelled Karma and I'm not a Hindu or Buddhist!

Anyway, has anyone who has had the head issue tried to contact that Tricia lady from GM Customer Service (PM or Email)? Any response?
I asked her to read this thread in hopes that something may come of it!

I emailed her and get a response the next day requesting my Address and Phone so she could look into it and contact me. I am really hoping GM comes through on this.

Ya I contacted her only to get the same response gm already gave me that they don't believe this is their problem therefor not willing to help at all because there has not been a recall on them. Dont waste your time contacting Tricia she is no help just like the hummer assistance people.

While I do apologize that I am not always able to provide the resolution that you are looking for, I am here to help. Unfortunately all decisions are made on a case by case basis and I am not able to change a decision reached by another agent unless there was some sort of error. I do hope that I can continue to work with all of you. Thank you.

Tricia, GM Customer Service.

Yes it all depends on the case right? And in our case we were second owners and we had our oil changes done at oil can henrys and not the gm service center so therefor we get no help! Guess getting our oil changed by a third party cause our bad cylinder head guys!!!!! All I can say is wow!!!! Please stop wasting peoples time and giving false hope. Whem GM realizes this is their fault and recalls this problem then come back and actually HELP someone!!!!!!!!!!

I don't see GM recalling of their own accord. They are only going to do it if there is an issue that might kill someone (like the hood louver flying off and nearly killing the driver behind, as happened to me)

They've closed Hummer - they don't really care about its reputation now. There are no new Hummers for them to sell.

Anyone who is posting issues on these forums has probably already contacted GM and been told to go away. So I don't see the point of asking them again here to contact GM, and then telling them to go away again... that just seems calculated to wind people up even more. This PR exercise all sounds like a terrible waste of money to me.

Sorry to resurect this thread. I've owned my H3 for a couple of months now in London. It's fantastic!

I've been trawling US forums for info on this head issue, as my VIN number falls into the affected vehicles. Although I've not had any issues yet at 22000 miles

I called a Hummer specialist in the UK who told me that most of the H3's that they have seen with head problems (They've sold 400 or so, and seen about 8 come back with the head problem) have had gas (LPG) conversions carried out on them.

Is there any evidence out in the US to suggest that this is possible?
