Stab system traction failure
I'm getting a stab system traction failure reduced engine power warning. Been to the Chevy dealer 4 times since January. First two times they reprogrammed my pccm, said if it happens again will need to replace, well it did so they replaced it, had it less than 10 days and it happened again, they kept it for 4 days and nothing. The last 4 days it happens constantly, I turn it off and wait and it sometimes resets or I clear the code. I'm thinking it may be the transfer case shift control module that is in the dash on the passenger side, had the drainage problem there and think it may have contributed to some of this. Need thoughts on this please, driving me crazy.

Mine ended up being the BCM it also got wet, dealer has to program, if u buy used u will end up with other vehicle mileage in my case 125,000 instead of 62,000, one dealer charged 75 dollars to do it, other dealer wanted 1700 for BCM and program

You have no idea if the OP has an H3 or H2, since he did not bother to provide that info, I would suggest we not bother to guess.
