Unhappy Blowing Fuses

I seem to be blowing fuses to my cruise control/Rear view Mirror. Anyone had this problem or ideas where to look to fix it. Thanks.

Well I found my problem. Previous owner installed a portable gps, and hard wired the power cord by snipping about 3" off the power cable and splicing that to speaker wire. He ran than in the gheadliner then down behind the dash to a power block behind the emergency brake lever. The break lever wore on the wire and there was my short. The dealership informed me that after vmarket work invalidated the warrenty and taking down the headliner will be $300.00. Took to a local car audio shop and the cost was $11.00. Caught a deal for a change

Default Got an 06 Hummer H3 blowing fuses after taking it out of drive

My Hummer H3 starting blowing fuses after I rinsed the engine compartment off. After that it started blowing fuses. This has been like 2 weeks ago. Still blowing fuses. I've checked all the connectors. They all seem dry. It will start and run. But as soon as you take it out of drive, it cuts off and blows the ignition fuse. Has anyone had this problem?

after pulling the coils and plugs and drying them and putting a heater / fan on top to dry it out i 'd not wash the motor with water any more. not a good thing...thats why they put hoods and rubber seals in there ya know..
