Default ISO OEM carpet kit for a 2006 H3

A buddy of mine has a detail shop. A customer dropped off an H3 that needs a bit of work. It had sat out in the weather for several years with a leaky roof. The carpet kit needs replaced. He asked me to to look it up for him. I have done some searching and found pretty much nothing but floor mats.

What I need is a stock carpet kit. The city I'm closest to is Portland, Oregon.

Are there some places a guy could find one for sale. New condition.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Your best best would probably be to get one out of a junkyard and clean it up. I don't know of anyone selling H3 carpet kits and making your own might get to be too costly depending on the level of effort put into it.

Default It has to be stock

Might end up making a few phone calls. I wish I had a part number for it. Not sure where to even look for that but I know things are a lot easier to find when you have a part number. Do know of which manual a catalog I might look in? A mechanic or body shop manual?

There are threads here on how to fix clogged sunroof drains.

If it soaked the floor, it probably thrashed the BCM and needs more TLC than some carpet.

If it just sat for a few years with the leak without being started or run, the BCM may be OK even if it got wet as long as it dried out prior to power being applied. Moisture doesn't hurt electronics until power is fed through them. Of course, there may be some power in the BCM even when turned off if the battery is still in the truck...

Anyway, it appears that the OEM carpet IS still available, though not cheap. I'm seeing prices ranging from $350-$650 just by plugging those part numbers into Google.

Cool

Another option would be to pull it and take it to an auto upholstery shop and get it made in the color you want. I would consider that if I had to dish out all that cash.

Under $400 is pretty reasonable. I may switch my interior over to the cashmere now!

i guess oem carpet is stamped out under pressure in a mold to form fit the vehicle and doubt if it can be made from a flat piece from scratch??
if u want it to fit get junk yard or pay big huh!!

Its not too complex of a piece. The humps under the seats are the areas that may be harder to get out of a flat piece. The carpet has foam rubber soundproofing on the back side and a few small areas with a thick felt patch. Being one large piece it is a little harder to make on your own than something like my MGB carpet that used about 16 different small pieces, but I think it would be doable with enough motivation. However, at under $400, the cost/frustration tradeoff tells me to just buy one.
