Default Power to R rear tail light

I have no power going to the bulb base on my h2... Have blinker, stop, and brakes but no tail light. Also side marker same side does not work... I thought it was just a buld but no dice! I was told the square bulb base has a breaker type set up anyone heard of this? Checked power on prongs in base, guess this weekend I need to test the power on wirers coming into base... I hat electrical BS....

What did you guys try so far? If it had a breaker setup wouldn't it work after an hour after it cooled down? Wouldn't you think?

Default tried so far:

So far I have replaced the bulb twice, checked the wires to make sure they aren't loose and I checked the fuses. By the way if anyone needs to purchase a marker light for cheap go to www.gmparts4u.com as they have the best deal so far from my research. I am open to other ideas to try as well. Keep getting pulled over at night!

Thanks
Charles

Just out of curiosity, have you checked the contacts for corrosion? You might clean them up with some sandpaper or a file and then make sure the contacts haven't been pushed in to much so there is good contact..

Just a thought

Did you check the wires to see if you were getting voltage?
