Nope, they installed a secondary electric supply line here, haven't lost power since, only had a few millisecond flashes then lines switch.

 

Years Back when Sandy the Hurricane hit the east coast, We lost power here for 4 days. I was the only one on the block that had power from my Jenny. My rear neighbor hated the 500 Watt Halogen backyard light as her house is directly to the rear of mine and lights up here bedroom. The back of her house is 100 feet away. She use to yell at me to turn that thing off.

This was my chance to get even....During the power outage I left the 500 watt-er on all night every night till the power came back 4 days latter. Never mess with and old Dogface.
