After owning my Teryx for about seven years, I’ve gone through a few different windshields trying to find the right setup. I’ve had both polycarbonate and plexiglass versions of a Kawasaki Teryx 4 windshield. The polycarbonate was super tough, but it scratched really easily and eventually got so hazy it was hard to see through. It felt like every time I cleaned it, I ended up adding more scratches.
Later I tried running a lower poly section with an upper plexiglass piece. The plexi definitely resisted scratches better, but it was much more brittle and actually cracked while I was trailering the machine down the highway at around 70 mph.
Now I’m thinking about switching to a glass Kawasaki Teryx 4 windshield, but I’d really prefer a split design and haven’t been able to find one yet. Has anyone here come up with a good solution or found a setup that works well? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
