Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
I'd rather push my Hummer than drive a Jeep...

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
None... Yet

Suspension Modifications:
Adjusted torsion bars for 24" level, replaced front shocks with Rancho

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Replaced OEM with NITTO Mud Grappler 305 70R16. The ride is indescribably smoother, albeit louder... Sounds like the whir of a jet engine at highway speed.

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Replaced OEM Head Unit with Kenwood DVD touchscreen & Navigation. Retained the OEM Monsoon amplifier and speakers.

Future Modifications:
Investigating matte black "dip" for wheels and body. Son is building a custom 96"x50" roof rack in AG class for Senior Finals. Would like to add a snorkel kit if for no other reason than aesthetics; BCM is too low to REALLY submerge the hood. Once the roof rack is finished, possibly a quick disconnect mount for a rifle bipod? Read more ยป

3rd set of headlamps. Stock to HID to LED. The HID bulbs didn't last even a year. The new LED headlamps are INFINITELY better. No flicker or weird light pattern and the high beams actually work. I did have to lower the aim about 6 inches. Optix 3 panel LED bulbs - $50 a pair on eBay.

Just a tad shy of 200,000 miles now... 1 transmission replaced and 1 radiator replaced.

This is the 5th set of tires for the old girl... BF Goodrich KO2 305 70 R16 Stock - MUCH smoother than previous Nitto Mud Grappler of the same size
