Bought new, Use this to go to snowbird utah and pull jetskis to river.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Installed new 2012 engine/transmission, all senders, tubing, A/c, alternator, front steering, front differential, all new and designated for 2012 chevy colorado. Exact engine transmission and all forward drive train parts are original but factory new. All hoses and radiators new. All done in our own shop.
Suspension Modifications:
Installed all new torsion bars, all new rubber on all undercarriage, swing arms, Cv joints, front axle. All new exhaust and sensors.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Installed all new front brake assemblies. New rims and tires stock. new spare. All stock
Future Modifications:
next engine wont be an engine. This vehicle was purchased originally by us for navy contract to be converted to electric but the concept did not pan out on the other unit we did in 2007. 50 miles per charge and diminishing battery life and speed up hill was scrapped at that time. Solar rooftop array extending from aft of spare tire to forward of front bumper will keep the batteries topped off while it sits at work. We have done this many times for boats. A hybrid adds a DC genset costing 24,000 dollars US while still in the box.
