Wanted to share images of the Cooper Discoverer ATP2 tires on my H3. These are LT285/75R16 tire size and replaced my Hankook Dynapro ATMs of the same size. Only had 30,000 miles on them but right rear tire blew last week. Discount Tire had the ATP2s and a BFG in stock so decided on the Coopers at $210/tire. I didn't mind the Hankooks and liked their aggressive look but after a week with the Cooper ATP2s, I will say that the ride is unbelievably better. They are really smooth and I can't hear any noise from the pavement. It was actually surprising just how quiet they are the first few times I had them out. Really hoping to get more than 30,000 miles out of this set and figured I would share my initial thoughts as well as some pictures in case anyone is looking around for a new set. The image on Discount Tire's site looks like a stock image and I couldn't get a good feel for how they might look. Can't say much about performance in bad weather yet but the tread is pretty deep.

 

Surprise American Made stuff is actually better than Asian Imports.......... news at 11.
