Alright ya nutbags ... you want an update?!?! YOU CAN'T HANDLE AN UPDATE!!!!!!!

Long story short ... 12 weeks of rehab .. finally have sensation in my right leg again ... ALL OF IT! Back has gotten better .. my mobility is greatly increased and they say I have progressed about as far as I should be able to expect. Both my legs are considered "normal" now .. my lumbar area is approx 40% of that of a normal persons .. I had barely any mobility in it at all prior to rehab so thats a huge increase for me ... I am however weak as a newborn baby and I pretty much crap out after 8-10 hours .. currently I crunch 3-5 2mg morphine tabs/day, 2-4 vicodin (along with the morphine), stuff for the arthritis where I got injured, plus externally applied patches for pain controll. I am considered a chronic moderate/severe pain patient, hence the abundance of drugs in my system LOL! I'm clearly addicted to the morphine as I get nauceous and vomit like a mad man if I don't take it .. been through that before so I have something to look forward to here hopefully, kickin the habit LOL! I honestly don't really give a sh*t right now though .. they keep me upright and mobile and that's all that matters right now ....
I'm due at the hospital tomorrow (Monday) morning for a total of four epidurals in my lumbar region. Two on each side, between L4/L5 and L5/S1. My doc has given me about an 80% chance of being pain free after this but it may require another set of four epidurals a couple of weeks down the road. I should know the level of success towards the end of the week as it takes 3-5 days before it hits peak performance so to speak. If both attempts prove to be fruitless the remaining option is to fuse L4/L5/S1 together using bone cages or titanium rods. I want to avoid this but if that's my only option to get rid of this !@#$!@#$!@#$!@#$!@#$!$^#%^#$ never ending pain, get the ****** scalpel out and get to work!!!!!!

The morphine of course has absolutely killed my appetite so I've lost approx 40 lbs since September. I am the first to admit I've tried to drop some of the poundage as it has a positive impact on the rest of the issues ... I just didn't expect quite THAT much as I'm not able to exercise or nothing .. If it wasn't for a good ol' fashioned joint to get the ol' appetite goinglol ... I prolly would've lost a whole lot more LOL!

Anyways, there's the scoop fellas ... Things are on the upswing at least .. just gotto get through the last set of bullsh*t and homie should be back to his usual crazy self .. this with the addition of a bucket to puke in and a towel to wipe the coldsweats with ... if any of ya'll have ever kicked a morphine habit before ... ya know what I'm talking about LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

PT helped, so that is a positive sign. Those epidurals are not fun, hope they help. Best of luck!

The WSOP thing was actually in Caesar's Indiana and yes, I did get to go ... and yeah, it about killed my *** LOL!!

Epidurals weren't that bad .. I just got home from having them done. The pain med injections were far more painful than the actual epidural ... They jacked me up pretty good prior to giving them to me so I wasn't really too "there" .. and I'm still in that state lol ... it hurts like ***** though .. and my legs don't work very well ... They feel weak and exceptionally heavy lol .. Les, my wife, had to get me in from the car lol!!!!

Anyways ;.. gunna go pass out here .. but before that .. thanks for all the offer guys ... always nice to know there are good folks around who give a crap ... another 3-5 days and this stuff should be doing it's magic .. hopefully I can reclaim a med free life at that point .. it's getting pretty old cruching morphine and vicodin 16 hours/day .. lol!

You are quite correct there .. it fixed the "mechanical" aspects of things but unfortunately did nothing for the pain .. getting mobility not to mention POSTURE back is awesome but don't mean jack if you feel like you have a glowing red hot drill bit spinnin' around in there 24/7 :/ I hope this crap today will at least dull it down so I can get away without the morphine at least ... lol

PLEASE come back soon. They are getting tired of my b1tching every other day, and I'm getting tired of Shorty telling us in every thread how he shouldn't be a Moderator when we all know we want him to be just for our own personal benefit, ie: comic relief in the Moderator channel

And that's not just with his looks either
