Wow Jose, I think that qualifies as the longest post ever! And one of the best. Thanks for the great pics - I was downloading them from your site as you were uploading them. My final repair bill will be two exhaust tips, an alignment and a center cap - about $250 total. Not bad considering everything but I would've preferred $0.

Alrock, 33's up to 35s would have helped some in the departure angle aye? Makes ya think. I know, you an I are wearing out the tires that came on the truck, but new boots will be cool eventually.

What do you think of the cognitos now brud.....looks like everything got a work out?

 

Doc, I'm actually on 32s, not even 33s. I'm going to go to 295/75/16 when I can. 35s just push it a bit in mpg, I don't want to take that hit. I think the u-bolt skid plates and a rear diff skid plate would've helped glide over some of the rocks as they would present a smooth face vs. a straight edge.

Cognitos are great. I'm loving the ride but a bit sensitive to rear squat when taking off from a light. I tend to blind those in front of me on acceleration and I've already adjusted my headlights (unlike the @ss from that one recent thread). I am thinking about adding rear Cognitos but there's no rush on that. I don't feel like I'm leaning back as I first did (except on a start, as I just said), so I'd put them as a win. They do add some front clearance and approach so that was good. Theoretically, they may have actually decreased the rear departure angle a bit as the front was pushed up the rear bumper would lower a wee bit, wouldn't it? I don't think it would be enough to worry about though.

The biggest addition (thanks for the help, Jose) was finally getting my UCP on. Without that I would've probably bent the front propshaft again. As it is I did bend the UCP, but hey, that's why it's there.
