As long you can drive your H3 back home, instaed of towing it - then it's O.K (At least I think so)

Each H3 had its issues - primarily getting caught up on the rear differential and leaf springs.
Funny you say that. I just talked to HummerMike today about ordering the rear diff and leaf spring plates. I wasn't sure if they were necessary. You just answered my question.
Can anyone post a picture of these plates mounted on their H3?

Second time I took my H3 offroading the front plate bent parallel to the ground. I was more than a little perplexed as to when it happened, since the bumper was untouched. Probably going through some of the water holes.

Sorry to hear about the damage to you H3!

Using all four license plate srews....not them ebay big ole H3 nuts, ....works to keep the plate where it is supposed to be without a bend, I like the scrapes it gets.

Use the two bottom holes of the plate to mount it. That will get it up out of the way. Haven't had any problems with the front plate since moving it.

That trail was deffinetly a challange, fun though. My carnage was one banged up center cap (don't know why I didn't take them off) lots of new AZ pinstriping bent rear bumber and plate. I took almost 1600 pictures but after going through all of them I kept 407 of them, they could be looked at here. www.jdeorta.smugmug.com here are a few though.
